Sole advisor to Prensa Ibérica on the acquisition of Grupo Zeta

AZ Capital has advised Prensa Ibérica on the acquisition of Grupo Zeta and in the negotiations with the creditor banks.

Grupo Zeta is a communications group whose main titles are El Periódico de Catalunya and the sports daily Sport.

The acquisition of Grupo Zeta allows Prensa Ibérica to exceed 2,25 million daily readers in print and to reach almost 300,000 daily copies, consolidating its leadership in the regional and local press segment in Spain.
