Advice on the financing process for a family holding company

As part of its Investment activity, a Spanish Family Office is looking for alternative financing alternatives.

The proposed standard financing structure by the local Financing Institutions don´t comply with the client´s objectives in terms of Notional, spread, collateral and maturity.

Following the conversations and negotiations that we had with the International Banks, we were able to identify a suitable alternative (Pre Ipo financing) providing as guarantee a stake on a US private company that was going to be listed in the coming future

The mentioned structure provided the required flexibility to the Family Office in terms of Notional and Maturity and standing out specially once the US company was listed.
