AZ Capital has advised Criteria on the sale of its remaining 50% stake in theme park PortAventura to Investindustrial for an amount of €105 MM. Investindustrial is now the sole owner of the theme park.
Criteria has remained the 100% owner of the company of PortAventura’s real estate assets, including land for residential and commercial use, golf courses and its Beach Club.
PortAventura is the leader theme park in Spain, with more than 3,7 MM visitors in 2011.

AZ Capital ha asesorado a Criteria en la venta del 50% que mantenía en PortAventura a Investindustrial por un importe de €105 MM. Con esta operación, Investindustrial se hace con el 100% del parque.
Criteria, por su parte, ha mantenido el 100% de la empresa propietaria de, entre otros activos, los terrenos para uso residencial y comercial, los campos de golf y el Beach Club.
PortAventura es el parque temático líder en España, con más de 3.7 MM de visitantes en 2011.
