Advisor to Cellnex in the acquisition of CK Hutchison's sites portfolio in Europe

AZ Capital has advised Cellnex on the acquisition of CK Hutchison's sites network in Europe. The transaction comprises a total of 24,600 sites in six countries and the commitment to roll-out 5,250 over the next eight years. Total consideration amounts to c. €10 Bn, out of which c. €1,4 Bn have been paid in Cellnex shares. It has been the largest transaction completed by Cellnex, allowing the company to enter new markets such as Austria, Sweden, and Denmark, and reinforce its position as a key player on UK, Ireland, and Italy.
